A Vietnamese woman who was caught red-handed for pick-pocketing at a market in Kepong Baru, Malaysia was tied up, slapped and shamed in public on Friday (June 14).
Various videos of the incident have circulated on facebook, with one uploaded by Simon Blow Snow that clearly shows the woman being jeered at by members of the public.
According to a description accompanying the facebook video, the woman was Vietnamese. Another video stated that the incident took place in Satellite City, Kepong.
She had a sign that read 'pickpocket' hung over her head, and looked distressed.
Various onlookers where also seen stepping forward to slap her in the face.
